As a long time gardener and passionate about the local Sunshine Coast Queensland environment i knowingly contribute to the local community with lovingly grown roses and flowers plus native and other bees and the native birds love the bugs around the roses, so its a win win all round. To date i havent had any problems with possums loving the pink tips on the roses and the weather has been kind to me and the gardens so far. So many new varieties are coming on in growth plus leaves and flowers that i havent seen in bloom yet, so its a pretty exciting few months to come as the weather changes...because I love what I do out in the open air with my " flower kids" I will keep you posted on each step of my rose nursery farming day including pictures of my booms and property development. The actual property we own is 16 acres of lovely ridge top sun and the soil is amazing with a large amount of clay base due to us planting on the ridges of the property. I love my days even though my aging body often groans at the end of a day letting me know to rest well before we rise to meet the next days delights..
